Services and Pricing

All prices are based on a standard format screenplay (12 point, Courier font, margins no less than 1", etc.) and with a length up to 125 pages. Scripts longer than 125 pages require an additional $1 per page. For a limited time, Script Alchemist is offering this service for just $360, a savings of 10% from our regular fee.

All scripts will be analyized by experienced script readers.

Concept
A concept is basically a general idea of what the story is about.

Plot
A plot is a causal sequence of events, the "why" for the things that happen in the story. The plot should draw the reader, listener, or viewer into the character's lives and helps the reader, listener, or viewer understand the choices that the characters make. Do the events taking place make sense?

Narrative Structure
A narrative structure is generally described as the structural framework that underlies the order and manner in which a narrative is presented to a reader, listener, or viewer. Does the script employ sound pacing? Does it progress logically?

Character
The characters are the people, animals, or other creatures in the story. If they are flat, how can you add complexity?

Dialogue
Writing dialogue, realistic dialogue, does not come easily to everyone. Done well, dialogue advances the story and fleshes out the characters while providing a break from straight expostition. However, just as realistic dialogue is one of the most powerful tools at a writer's disposal, nothing pulls the reader, listener, or viewer out of a story faster than bad dialogue. This is perhaps the one area where Script Alchemist is most beneficial.

Marketability
